The studies of history of early Joseon dynasty during 2009~2010 developed with much quantitative growth up and presented noticeable researches in politics, foreign relations, status and life history. The released works was more than 440 volumes. In political history, the studies related with foundation of Joseon dynasty, bureaucracy and rituals made considerable advancements. The studies of foreign relations produced many works owed to vigorous activities related organizations.
The most noteworthy outcome was the studies related with status, especially in commoners and slaves theory(良賤制). Recent works brought out a serious question to conventional view that status of early Joseon dynasty was divided in two category. I felt those questions had many ponderable points. I hope much academic controversy will be propounded to that issues and anticipate much developments in the studies of Joseon dynasty.
