Wheel Sensor which is the important factor in automotive brake system is used for measuring the vehicle speed and it is used for getting car movement. It is possible to calculate vehicle speed using active wheel sensor, however it is not possible to know the direction of the vehicle with active wheel sensor. This problem can be solved using smart wheel sensor which not only can calculate vehicle speed but also know the direction of the vehicle. On this paper, descript the difference between active wheel sensor and smart wheel sensor and how to imply smart wheel sensor on vehicle.
