We numerically investigate liquid droplet spreading behavior onto a horizontal surface. The droplet spreading is simulated by an in-house solution code(PowerCFD). The present method employs an unstructured cell-centered method based on a conservative pressure-based finite-volume method with interface capturing method(CICSAM) in a volume of fluid(VOF) scheme for phase interface capturing. It is simulated by changing the various conditions, ranging from hydrophilic surface to hydrophobic surface. The present study will be helpful to predict the behavior of droplet based on the results.
