How to teach the history of architecture? It is not an easy question. Nowadays, this question becomes more difficult to answer, under the weakening of architectural history education by the changes of architectural education system. And also, various external circumstances, such as the system of university education and general history education, the depression of architecture and construction business, weaken the status of architectural history education.
It seems very hard to turn the present situation for the better. But, first of all, we have to provide the programs of architectural history education, that are easy to participate and give satisfaction to students. The programs start from the understanding of the architectural heritages close to the students and then, the programs are connected to the programs of other parts of architectural education.
