To catch visitors’ interests on websites, several design elements must be considered, and color is the first consideration. In this study, we investigated how color can affect people’s impression of healthcare websites. The HealthCare.gov website that launched on October 2013 was used as a context to study relationships between color and people’s responses based on their impression. For the comparison study with the current healthcare website, primary color is blue, two homepages, designed by authors, were created with several colors, bright image, and complementary colors without image.
