This research aimed to figure out the influence of color stimulus to stress by comparing stress levels before and after color stimulus. The Psychosocial Well-being Index(PWI) was used to measure the stress level of subjects in an experiment space of red and green object color and light-source color, and 10 lx and 100 lx lighting. The data was compared and analyzed.
The study results showed that color stimulus had an influence on stress. Also, it was found that lighting brightness had an influence on stress.
Stress was found to be much lower in time of object color stimulus than in time of light source color stimulus. It is interpreted that Red light source gets subjects to suffer high stress while Green object color is helpful to the subject in their stress relaxation.
