The following results were obtained for the purpose of this study, by eliciting implications through the causal relationship between absorption capability, core competency and Business performance, which internalizes this external technology, and to present measures for positive performance that are possible not only for academic development but also for practical application of tourismenterprises. First, the hypothesis that potential capacity, which is a sub-factor of a tourism entity"s absorption capacity, would have a significant positive effect on the marketing capacity and service capability of the core competences was supported, and the hypothesis that the realized capacity would have a significant positive impact on the service capability was not supported. Second, the hypothesis that the latent capacity, which is a sub-factor of the absorption capacity, has a significant positive effect on financial performance was supported, but the hypothesis that the potential capacity will have a significant positive effect on non-financial performance was not supported, and that the realized capacity would have a positive effect on financial performance and non-financial performance was supported. Third, the hypothesis that the marketing capacity and financial performance of the sub-factor of absorption would have a significant effect on the Business and the financial performance of the sub-factor and the non-financial performance was all supported. Therefore, tourism companies should transform their absorbed knowledge to suit their enterprises and enhance the company"s capabilities through utilization to enhance their competitiveness by securing opportunities for import growth and cost reduction, not only from quantitative but also from qualitative long-term perspectives.
