While efforts are being made to cope with environmental problems around the world, eco-friendly building certification systems are being implemented in the building sector. The purpose of the project is to prepare effective improvement measures for G-SEED by comparing G-SEED with LEED, a domestic eco-friendly building certification system, in the U.S., and analyzing it through examples of common houses that have actually been certified as G-SEED. The assessment items of G-SEED and LEED were compared mainly in the external environment field. A case analysis was conducted on the joint housing in Seoul, which was certified as G-SEED in 2020. The analysis indicated that the examples were following G-SEED"s assessment items well. I would like to present the improvements to G-SEED on the significance of the comparative analysis of G-SEED and LEED through domestic examples.
