Before studying the aerodynamic characteristics of the airfoil in the wind tunnel, the average wind speed, and turbulence intensity as the key parameters should be measured at the area of the test section where the test model is located. Therefore, in this study, the wind speed and turbulence intensity of a digital wind tunnel developed for the airfoil aerodynamic characteristics experiment was measured. In the first step, the characteristics of the wind speed field at 8 cross-sections of the wind direction were identified to obtain the optimal section for the airfoil test.
