Urban sprawl in today’s society has led to serious environmental problems. To address these problems, eco-friendly architecture based on natural phenomena has emerged, but there are few studies on its design process and methodology. In this context, this study analyzed the design process of a eco-friendly architecture, in which the system was established based on natural phenomena, such as solar heat, water, and air and its form was designed accordingly, and shed light on its potential. The process which identifies a design form suitable to efficiently utilize natural phenomena as demonstrated in the results of the analysis and the innovative structural solution which plays a crucial role in supporting and implementing the design form will serve as an important reference for future research in the field of eco-friendly architecture.
