Thermal comfort in indoor environments is a critical factor influencing occupant well-being and productivity, particularly in climate-controlled spaces. However, achieving consistent thermal comfort remains a challenge due to variations in individual preferences, environmental conditions. This study aims to evaluate the impact of two types of foot heaters on thermal comfort and skin temperature, while exploring potential gender-based differences in thermal sensation. For the analysis, descriptive statistics were used to summarize the data, and paired t-tests were conducted to assess differences across HVAC set points and heater performance. The conclusion highlights the importance of investigating potential gender differences in thermal sensation and comfort. While the data suggest that foot heaters may contribute to improved thermal comfort across different HVAC settings, further analysis is required to determine if significant gender-based differences in responses exist. This study provides valuable insights into the role of personalized heating solutions and their impact on thermal comfort, suggesting the need for further research into gender-specific responses to enhance occupant satisfaction in climate-controlled environments.
