The purpose of this study is to investigate and verify the meaning of the life in infancy and childhood through the life story of Kang Seon-Yeong, the first holder of intangible cultural asset Taepyeongmu.
Conclusions are as follows. First, sub themes were produced as blessing of 100 days of Buddhist prayer, a cute baby of a large family of a rich farmer, homeroom teacher’s recommendation of dance, compliment from villagers, play is an interesting thing, mother who read books, yearning for an elementary school and parents’ enthusiasm for education. Second, main themes were produced as happy childhood, talent for dance was searched, mother‘s feminine educational philosophy etc.
