As the times change, the paradigm of consumption changed from ownership to experience consumption, and the trend of the domestic market changed from supplier-centered to consumer-centered, making consumer needs and experiences important. Emphasizing this cultural sensibility, companies operate complex cultural spaces to provide customers with various cultural contents, and at the same time, they enjoy creating profits by connecting commercial spaces. This study analyzes the characteristics of expressing the indoor environment of the three complex cultural spaces currently operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government from the perspective of user experience design as follows. First, this study derived the expressive characteristics of complex space and user experience design as preceding studies and examined cases in physical and psychological aspects. Second, looking at the results of organizing the characteristics, accessibility > participation > sensitivity > association > expertise > complexity > linkage > symbolism includes sensory perception of the user"s space. It is more important participation than rational space allocation and gives a positive feeling that can be obtained from an emotional atmosphere. Since this study analyzed the user experience design of the complex cultural space by investigating only three limited cases, there is a limit to the research results. It is expected that better research results will be presented on the theoretical completeness of this study through in-depth interviews and surveys in the future and surveys.
