[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to verify the effects of the inclusion physical education program on basic motor skills and stereotypic behaviors of students with autism spectrum disorders and to provide evidence-based practice for the development of classes for students with autism spectrum disorders.
[Results] First, there was a significant difference in basic motor skills after participating in the integrated physical education program ( p<.001). Second, there was a significant difference in stereotypic behavior after participating in the integrated physical education program ( p<.001).
[Conclusion] In this study, it is difficult to clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of the integrated physical education program due to the absence of the control group. However, since the results of many previous studies are consistent with this study, there was a positive change in the basic motor skills due to the exercise intervention of this study. It is thought that the improvement of the perception ability and the re-recognition of the relationship between the body and the autistic disabled students strengthened the coordination and balance of each part and decreased the motional stereotypic behavior. These results can be used as a basis for constructing a motor intervention experimental study of autistic students in the future.,In future studies, it is necessary to consider ways to secure more research participants and control groups in connection with special schools and related organizations in the region and to examine changes in various homologous behaviors.
