The purpose of this manuscript is to analyze how mother-tougue language orders effect when learning Korean. In this manuscript, two languages are compared and analyzed; Turkish for SOV langauge and Chinese for SVO language. Research on learners cognition, comparison of grammatical error rate between both groups has been made for this study. According to this study, it appeared that Turkish learners for SOV language and Chinese learners for SVO language had very different cognition when learning Korean. As a summary of the result in grammatical experiment, both learners were well-informed of the basic ‘subject-object-predicate’ word order, hence error rate wasn’t high for both learners. Nevertheless, it appeared that both learners makes errors in particular word orders other than basic word order. It is very important which word order language is in the background of the Korean learners. I expect that this study could help in seeking unique education methods since Korean majors are been established through many universities around the world.
