This study elicited the conclusion on the development of evaluation scale concerning major practice lesson over the department of physical education.
The evaluation of the lesson is the system by which added are student"s evaluations performed 4 times a semester as well as by which added are the student"s evaluations over satisfaction related to the feedback of the lecturers based on lesson evaluation. Through the course, a lesson evaluation about one semester is performed. So, this study developed an evaluation scale concerning major practice lesson over the department of physical education. The courses of development are as followings.
At first, this study classified the evaluation scale items concerning major practice lesson over the department of physical education. before observation classification was performed.
Large categories were ‘lesson operation’, ‘lesson contents’, ‘class circumstance’, and ‘student management’. As for the medium categories, ‘those of lesson operation’ were lesson improvement, lesson hour, lesson structure/design. lesson evaluation, ‘those of lesson contents’ were lecture expertise, lesson guidance, lesson attitude, and lesson preparation, and ‘those of lesson circumstance’ were lesson facility, lesson tool, and ‘those of student management’ were interaction, learning motivation, student counseling, and learning accomplishment.
Next, with the purpose of constructing evaluation item, that is small categories, this study constructed the first 112 preliminary evaluation items aided by four employed professors in charge of major in this university, unified similar or duplicated items, deleted unsuitable items to construct the second 74 preliminary items, and in the end, performed evaluated item suitability and content reliability to get 69 items.
