The main assertion of this paper is that the ending``s grammar must be the explanatory examination, not the classificational examination which has been oriented towards the system of complex sentences construction. First, we examine the elaborating step of the studies of conjunctive ending schematically up to the recent studies. Second, the expansion of conjunction and the reciprocal relationship between embedding and conjunction are illustrated, while there have been oriented towards the embedding in the previous studies. Third, we examine the explanation ``Why clauses construct the complex sentences``, which can consequently embrace the embedding and conjunction of various complex sentences, while there have been focused on the manner of embedding and conjunction, ``How clauses construct the complex sentences``. Fourth, there exists ``coordination-conversion`` and ``subordination-conversion``, not dichotomy, in the relationship between coordination and subordination. Therefore the final-ending, in particular, conjunctive ending is the marker of composing complex sentences which interact with other grammatical, semantic；pragmatic elements in the sentences, and the morphological unit whose semantic function is to notionalize the intra-clausal relation, in addition, the conjunctive ending can be the clause-chaining unit which is lacking in notion.
