The present study investigated ‘whether implementing different types of feedback in students’. process-oriented writing has a positive effect on improving the participants’ English writing proficiency, how the participants perceive their writing experiences in conjunction with feedback activity, and how much helpful the participants perceive which types of feedback are for their revision processes. Forty two Korean EFL university freshmen who enrolled in a required English course offered in the fall semester of 2011 were participated in this study. The participants were required to complete four writing assignments as one of the course requirements. The participants experienced teacher written feedback, student written feedback, and feedback from teacher- student conference while completing writing assignments in conjunction with revision processes in response to feedback. Data were gathered through pre- and post-writing and pre- and post-questionnaire. The results of this study reveal that writing experiences in conjunction with feedback activity would be beneficial for the improvement of the Korean EFL students’ writing ability and for the perception change on their attitudes toward writing in English and feedback.
